From local pumpkin patches and community events to mountain roller coasters and state parks, you’ll find all the fall fun you need here in Pennsylvania. 

Marienville

Those hoping for the best fall foliage views in town can head to Leonard Harrison State Park. Here, outdoor lovers will find 585 acres of beautiful land featuring winding trails, waterfalls, and the picturesque Pine Creek Gorge. A quick hike on the 0.6-mile Overlook Trail will lead you straight to the gorge where views of the parks’ changing trees are on full display.

Within the park, visitors will find a wide range of trees including everything from red maple and sycamore to tulip poplar and white oak. Ohiopyle

In mid-October, visitors can also enjoy the long-running Buckwheat Pancake Festival. In 2024, the nearby Braddock’s Restaurant and Tavern will be hosting their inaugural Fall Festival which is set to feature crafts, drinks, food trucks, live music, pumpkin painting, hayrides, and more.

Mount Jewett

Mount Jewett, Pennsylvania is a quaint town with deep Swedish roots and plenty of outdoor areas for you to explore. For unbeatable views of fall foliage, head to Kinzua Bridge State Park. Inside the park, you will find the old Kinzua Viaduct which has been repurposed into a pedestrian walkway and scenic overlook. From the 300-foot-tall and 600-foot-long walkway, you can soak in views of the surrounding trees and the gorgeous Kinzua Gorge.
